Like all good sisters: I am here to offer you advice, share tips, and let you in on all the hot gossip. Expect unlike the information you’d get from a real sister, the stuff I’m sharing is all about social media. Think of me and my blog as your go to spot for all the inside scoop on anything from scholarly research to trendy social media content.
As I study for my MS Degree in Communication, I am constantly exposed to the most up to date research and literature on all things social media. My professors expose me to wide collections of scholarly papers, media guides and resources about industry best practices.
Most of my assignments ask me to look at digital media in a more critical and strategic way. And now, it’s impossible for me to scroll through social media and NOT make some connection to my coursework. I actually have become obsessed with identifying real-world examples of the social media research, I’ve read for class. So, since I am already doing all this reading and making these connections, I figured why not pass along what I’m discovering about social media.
Just as an older sister passes along what she’s learned from her own experiences, I am here passing along what I’ve learned from my grad school homework…
